Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

1. Welcome to Delve

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Delve.city, Inc. ("Delve," "we," "us" or "our"). They cover your use of the Delve mobile app, our website at delve.city, and any related features (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information. If you don't agree, please don't use Delve.

Please read Section 12 carefully. It explains how disputes between you and Delve are resolved.

2. Who can use Delve

Age. You must be at least 18 years old to use Delve.

Your account. You'll need an account to use most of Delve. You agree to give us accurate information when you sign up, keep it up to date, and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account, so let us know right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed it. You may not create an account for someone else, use another person's account, or create more than one account to get around a restriction.

3. Using Delve

What Delve does. Delve helps you find things to do by vibe and turn them into real plans with your people. You can search for events, places and activities, save the ones you like, create or join groups, mark the days you're free, and respond to plans (for example, I'm in, Maybe or Pass).

What other people see. Delve is built for sharing with your groups. When you join a group, other members can see your name, your availability on the group calendar, and how you respond to plans in that group. Only join groups with people you're comfortable sharing that with. You can leave a group at any time.

Personal use. Delve is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't use it to advertise, sell or promote products or services unless we've agreed to that in writing.

Notifications. We may send you push notifications and emails about your account, your groups and plans, and changes to the Service. You can turn off push notifications in your phone's settings and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. [We'll only send you marketing messages if you've agreed to receive them.]

Changes and new features. Delve is a young product and we're building quickly. We may add, change or remove features, and some features may be labeled "beta" or "early access." Those are offered as-is and may not always work perfectly.

4. Events, places and plans

We don't run the events. Delve shows events, venues and activities run by other people and businesses. We don't organize, host, sponsor or control them, and listing something on Delve isn't an endorsement.

Check before you go. Event details like dates, times, prices, hours, age limits and availability come from third parties [and public sources] and can change or be wrong. Please confirm details with the organizer or venue before you go. We aren't responsible for events that are canceled, changed, sold out or not as described.

Your safety. Meeting up in person is the point of Delve, so use good judgment. You're responsible for your own decisions about which plans to join, who to meet, and how you get there and back. Delve doesn't screen users or check the safety, legality or accessibility of any event or place. If something feels off, don't go, and contact local authorities if you're ever in danger.

Plans made in groups. Plans, holds and availability you share are there to help coordinate. They aren't bookings or reservations, and Delve isn't responsible if a plan falls through or someone doesn't show up.

5. Your content and community rules

Your content. "Your Content" means anything you add to Delve, such as your name, group names, plan details, comments and messages. You own Your Content. To run Delve, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display and share Your Content with the people you choose (like your groups), and to adapt it as needed to make the Service work. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for copies other members have already received, backups kept for a limited time, or where the law requires us to keep it.

You're responsible for it. You confirm that you have the right to share Your Content.

Community rules. Delve is about real connection, so treat people well. You agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, bully or intimidate anyone, or post hateful or discriminatory content
  • post sexual content, graphic violence, or anything illegal
  • impersonate someone or misrepresent who you are
  • share someone else's private information without their permission
  • add people to groups or send invites they didn't ask for, or send spam
  • use Delve to organize anything illegal or dangerous
  • scrape, copy or collect data from Delve using bots or other automated tools
  • hack, overload or interfere with the Service, or get around any limits or blocks we put in place
  • copy, reverse engineer or resell any part of Delve

Enforcement. We don't review everything on Delve, but we may remove content or limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules or put others at risk. If you see something that breaks these rules, report it in the app or email [email protected].

6. Delve's content and ideas

Our stuff. The Delve app, website, name, logo, designs and software belong to Delve or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, as allowed by these Terms. You may not use the Delve name or logo without our written permission.

Feedback. We love hearing ideas. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we can use them freely without owing you anything.

Copyright complaints. If you think something on Delve infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: your contact details; a description of the work; where the content appears on Delve; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for them, with your signature. We may remove content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

7. App stores

If you downloaded Delve from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and Delve only, not Apple or Google. Delve, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app, its content, support, and any claims about it, including product liability, legal compliance and intellectual property claims. Your use of the app must also follow the app store's own terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as they relate to the iOS app. You confirm you aren't located in a country under a U.S. government embargo and aren't on any U.S. government list of restricted parties.

8. Links and other services

Delve may link to or work with other websites, apps and services, such as maps, ticketing sites, venue pages [or your phone's calendar]. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. If you buy tickets or book something through another site, that purchase is between you and that business, and their terms apply.

9. Paid features

Delve is currently free. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, we'll show you the price and terms before you buy, and those terms will be added here.

10. Leaving Delve

You can leave anytime. Delete your account in the app under [Profile > Settings > Delete account] or by emailing [email protected]. Some things you shared with a group, such as messages or plan responses, may stay visible to that group's members.

We can end or limit access. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for Delve or other people, or if your account has been inactive for a long time. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond. We may also change or stop offering the Service, and if we shut Delve down we'll try to give you advance notice.

Sections 5 (license for content already shared), 6, 11, 12 and 13 continue to apply after your account ends.

11. Disclaimers and limits on our liability

Disclaimer. DELVE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THAT DELVE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY EVENT, PLACE, LISTING OR RECOMMENDATION WILL BE ACCURATE, AVAILABLE, SAFE OR TO YOUR LIKING.

Limitation of liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, DELVE AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND PARTNERS WON'T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF DELVE; ANY EVENT, PLACE OR PLAN YOU FIND OR JOIN THROUGH DELVE; OR THE CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES, ONLINE OR OFFLINE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DELVE IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS OR $100.

Some places don't allow these exclusions or limits, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Disputes with other users. You're responsible for your interactions with other people you meet through Delve. We aren't required to get involved in disputes between users, though we may choose to.

Indemnity. If someone brings a claim against Delve because of Your Content, your conduct (including at an event or plan made through Delve), or your breaking these Terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

12. Resolving disputes

Talk to us first. Most problems can be fixed quickly. Before filing any claim, email [email protected] describing the issue and what you'd like us to do, and give us 60 days to try to resolve it informally.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, and you and Delve consent to those courts. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

Time limit. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, to the extent the law allows.

13. The fine print

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms as Delve grows. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Delve after that, you accept the updated Terms.

Everything else. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Delve about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to do so later. You can't transfer these Terms to anyone else; we may transfer them if Delve is merged, acquired or reorganized. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
